Where does my code go?

Only where you choose. Hosted scans run on hardware we own and operate in the Czech Republic. Self-hosted scans never leave your network.

Our own hardware

Hosted scans run on Mac Studio machines owned and operated by Epicworks s.r.o. in the Czech Republic. No third-party AI service sees your code.

Not kept after the scan

Your code is used only for the scan you asked for. It is deleted when the scan ends and never used to train models. We keep operational metadata, such as request logs, for up to 30 days.

Under EU law

Epicworks s.r.o. is a Czech company and processes data under the GDPR.

Or keep it on-prem

The scanner is open source (Apache-2.0). Run it on your own machines against your own model endpoint (in testing), and your code never leaves your network.

What we receive in a hosted scan

  • The changed files and the minimum surrounding code needed for context.
  • The pull or merge request number and repository name, to post the report.
  • Never your secrets or CI variables.

Open source and attribution

EpicScan is built on nano-analyzer, the open-source scanner created by AISLE and released under Apache-2.0, extended by us. EpicScan is inspired by, but not connected in any business way with, AISLE.
